Zanzibar's Only National Park

J ozani Chwaka Bay National Park, located in the heart of Zanzibar, is the island's only national park and a vital sanctuary for a rich diversity of flora and fauna. The park is most famous for being home to the rare and endemic Zanzibar red colobus monkey.

The park features a variety of habitats including swamp forest, evergreen thickets, mangroves, and coastal forests, supporting numerous species of birds, butterflies, and small mammals.
